Since 2002, Madam Latifah had found interest in baking she upgraded herself by attending courses and developed her baking skills. Slowly she progressed herself by taking orders and did a lot of homely baking. As her elder daughter Ruqoiyah watched her mother bake she grew interest in baking as well. Ruqoiyah would always help her mom when she had orders.
In 14 May 2014, Cake Delights Bakery was opened.
